Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu professionally known as Sidhu Moose Wala was an Indian singer, rapper, actor, and politician affiliated with Punjabi music and Punjabi Cinemas.

He started his songwriting career by writing the song “License” sung by Ninja and his singing career on a duet song dupped “G Wagon”. Following his debut single he featured Brown boys on a couple of songs that were released under Humble Music.

The the song “So High” gained him his mainstream attention.

Moose was adored for his controversial lyrics style, often prompting a gun culture, while challenging religious sentiments.

He faced legal challenges while prompting gun cultures using inflammatory and inciting lyrics in his song.

As of 2022, there were four ongoing criminal cases against him. He was a member of the Indian National Congress and unsuccessfully contested the 2022 Punjabi Legislative Assembly Election.
